How We Verify Every Patient Before Raising a Single Dollar

Transparency is at the heart of PulseGivers. Here is a step-by-step look at exactly how we verify every patient case before we publish it and ask for donations.

When a patient applies to PulseGivers, we do not simply take their word for it. Every single case goes through a rigorous multi-step verification process before we publish it on our platform and ask donors for support.

Step 1: Initial Application Review

We begin by reviewing the application form in detail. We look for consistency in the story, the medical details provided, and the contact information. Applications with incomplete or contradictory information are flagged for follow-up before anything else happens.

Step 2: Medical Document Collection

We request official medical records directly from the hospital or clinic treating the patient. This includes diagnosis letters, treatment plans, cost estimates, and any relevant test results. These documents must be issued on official hospital letterhead and signed by the treating physician.

Step 3: Hospital Verification

Our team contacts the hospital directly — by phone and where possible in person — to confirm the patient is registered there and that the medical information provided matches their records. No case is approved based on documents alone.

Step 4: Home Visit (Where Possible)

For cases where the patient is in or near Lahore, we conduct a home visit to meet the family personally. This gives us a human understanding of their situation beyond what documents can convey.

Step 5: Final Approval

Only after all of the above is complete does the case go to our founder, Irfana Aslam, for final approval. Cases that pass all checks are published. Cases that do not are either returned for more information or declined with a full explanation to the family.

This process takes time — typically 5 working days — but it is the only way we can guarantee that every donor's generosity reaches a patient who truly needs it.
